On Saturday afternoon, I attended the event that Hayden Panettiere spoke at as a volunteer for the Women and Politics Institute. Overall, I think that it was a very interesting experience. I enjoyed hearing what Hayden and the man from the Whaleman Foundation had to say about the unethical treatment of whales throughout the world. I think that it is absolutely horrendous how these beautiful creatures are being treated and how people can do such a thing to them. Aside from the actual presentation, it was very cool to get to meet Hayden. When I presented her with the WPI mug she was very genuinely grateful. This event was a great opportunity!
