Congratulations 2009 WPPL Graduates!


On Friday, May 8th, the Women & Politics honored the 2009 graduates from the Women, Policy, and Political Leadership (WPPL) Certficate Programs. The WPPL Certificate programs provide knowledge and experience students need to become leaders in the fields of politics, government, and the non-profit sector. The WPPL certificate programs give students in-depth theoretical knowledge on issues in women and politics, as well as, the opportunity to learn to evaluste current issues with leading practitioners and experts. WPPL certificate students build professional networks, develop their leadership skills, and advance their careers.

Graduate certificate program honorees included Jennifer Elizabeth Benner, Katherine A. Craig, and Lucy Gettman. Undergraduate certificate program honorees included Catherine Margaret Bonanno, Caitlin Emma di Montova, Jennifer D. Dorsey, Natalie Greene, Caroline Johnson, Lana Alaine Knox, Jillian Marie Rubino, and Perry Sacks. Natalie Green was given the award for the Outstanding Undergraduate Paper in Women and Politics. Lucy Gettman was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Paper in Women & Politics. And Jillian Marie Rubino was honored as the Outstanding WPPL Graduate.
